The city of Perth sits along the Swan River and most residents of the city take advantage of the many walking and cycling trails that run along side it. Visitors can rent a bike and do the same. Back in Perth the Down Town area offers a wealth of shops. Head to Hay Street Mall and Murray Street Mall to stock up on some great souvenirs. The Down Town area is also the best place to go if you want to find some good places to eat. Head to 43 Below for dining below the ground. It offers modern Australian grub in a trendy decor. Try the local dishes at 150 East Riverside Bar and Restaurant. It serves great food in a casual atmosphere with mesmerizing views of the Swan River. It's located in the Ascot area.
