It certainly is not for you if you are into the trendy stylish bars, but it will be an interesting night out. Glasgow is the gateway to the Highlands, so if you want to take in some of the amazing Scottish countryside, get yourself a cheap rental car and head north towards Loch Lomond. Or if you brought your hiking boots, head further up north to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK with some great hiking trails around the mountain and all the way up to the top.
