What you need to know before you book your airfare and tickets
Zadar is one of those cities that oozes history. No matter what street you'll find yourself, there will be an old church or ancient building. The best way to discover the atmosphere of this historic coastal town is to get around on foot. The historic centre is located on a peninsula and can easily be visited in one day. There are about 30 odd churches in the centre and many other worth while points of interest are open for visitors. There is even an ancient Roman forum that is worth checking out. Or at least, what is left of it. Enjoy some of the most amazing sunsets in Europe at the waterfront. They're accompanied by music that comes from the famous sea organ. It's an organ that works with the motion of the waves. There is also a paved walkway by the harbour that is great for strolling along the water line. There is no lack of trendy night life spots in Zadar either. Have a drink at the Garden. It's owned by the drummer of UK band UB40. It's set on top of the old city walls and the views are worth it alone. Another option is Arsenal bar. It's a good place to have dinner as well.
