This city really has it all; Beaches, nearby mountains, great shopping, fine dining and a trendy night life. So log on to the internet and start looking for cheap flights to Vancouver. The best time to visit this city is... er well, any time. There's always something happening, and the weather is pretty stable all year round. Breezy summers and mild winters, which is great for exploring. There are many skis lopes around Vancouver and the well known ski resort whistler is only a short drive away. In summer these areas turn into hiking and biking trails. If your favourite summer activity is topping up your tan, you will love the beaches near Stanley Park. This green lung also offers an abundance of walking and skating trails along the Pacific Ocean. Shoppers can eat their heart out in the downtown area where you can find all the well known brands on Robson Street. Or check out the Pacific Mall which houses a few department stores. If independent shops are more your thing, then head over to funky Granville Street, South of Robson Street, where coffees shops and nice restaurants line the sidewalks. Don't forget to have a wander around Granville Market. Even if you are not staying at a self catering hotel, it's still worth a visit.
