Now that Aer Lingus has expanded their network across Europe, there are even more cheap flights to Malaga around than ever. Malaga is the gateway to the ever so popular Costa Del Sol where you can find a plenty of cheap accommodation. But next time you holiday in Torremolinos, take some time out to explore this Mediterranean gem. Bad weather is quite rare, so do walk around the many little alley ways and city squares to get a feel of the city. Being the birth place of Pablo Picasso the city has recently opened a brand new Picasso museum which is certainly worth checking out. Another must see is the Alcazaba, the old Moorish fortification which will give you a great view over the city and bay. Shopping is best on the Marques de Larios, the main shopping street in the centre of the town. Or have a look around at El Corte Ingles, the famous Spanish department store. Getting hungry, but don't want to spend too much on dinner? A visit to any Spanish city is not complete without having real Spanish tapas and also in this city there are plenty of tapas bars around.
