The capital of Wales is certainly worth a visit so go ahead and bag yourself a bargain cheap flight to Cardiff. There are so many things to do here, from shopping, outdoor and indoor sports, culture, great bars and restaurants. Cardiff has it all. John Lewis has just opened up shop in the city centre so be sure to check out this brand new department store. Also don't forget to have a look at the new St David's shopping centre as well. Don't miss the old Cardiff Docklands area that has been completely overhauled and is now home to some funky places to eat and drink. Now named the Cardiff Bay, it's used for food, art and other festival. It's also a great place to do some sailing or many other water sports. For dinner try one of the many dishes at Mimosa Kitchen & Bar. They're known for using locally grown and reared produce if possible. Make sure you come hungry!
