Try out the Kelderke restaurant on the Grand Place for some authentic Belgian dishes and Burgundian atmosphere. If you are in a morbid mood after dinner, have a drink at Le Cercueil which means the coffin. They serve drinks in skulls and the tables are genuine coffins. Or for a more cheerful evening, check out theatre/cafe Toone. It is a really puppet theatre, but if there is no show then the cafe still is a nice place to have a beer among the many string puppets hanging from the ceiling.
