What you need to know before you book your airfare and tickets
Had enough of New York and Washington DC? But you still want to go on a shopping spree in the US. Why not book a cheap flight to Atlanta, the capital of Georgia. This city has grown up into a veritable cosmopolitan city with loads of touristy attractions as well a funky bar and restaurants scene. Add to this some great outdoor activities and you have some ingredients for the perfect holiday. If you don't have too much time to spend in the Capital of the South , then hop on one of the tour buses run by City Segway Tours. It really gives you a good idea of all there is to see in Atlanta. This town is known for a few things and one of them is the Federal Reserve Bank which you can visit for free. It's a very educational trip, but well worth it as you get a bag of money at the end of the tour. Not real money of course... Another thing Atlanta is famous for is Martin Luther King jr as he was born, raised and buried here. Visit the Matin Luther King National Historic Site. You can visit the house where he was born, the church where he preached and the place he was buried. It's quite a moving and powerful experience. On a lighter note; The city boasts a very lively night scene with great restaurants and funky bars. If you like meat, try the steaks at Fogo de Chao, a South American style eatery. Then continue your night at Sambuca Jazz Bar for some tasty drinks and good music.
